ABOUT ME
I’m Mike Lundy, an award-winning creative with a unique approach to design. I was an Art Director for years at Calder Bateman and ZGM, two of western Canada’s most celebrated ad agencies. While there I developed and executed concepts for ad campaigns. I also have worked in a design studio, creating brands and websites for clients across North America. That experience allows me to bring high-level strategic thinking to branding and design. I tackle challenges with the consumer in mind, creating emotional connections between brands and their consumers.

THE SIDE HUSTLE
I’m the co-owner of Flannel Foxes, a made-in-Canada apparel brand. Flannel Foxes has given me the experience of building a brand of my own. We’re carried in 20+ stores across western Canada.
PROCESS
Learn
First I’ll learn about the project from you, the client. I’ll ask a whole lot of questions. If I know as much about your needs as you do, then you can trust me with your brand. Then I’ll learn about the audience, figuring out who they are and the best ways to reach them.
Plan
Once I understand the goals of the project, I start to plan. An overall strategy gives structure and direction to the design, making sure that the key messages are being delivered to the audience. A brand narrative gives personality to the work Conceptual thinking makes sure that the designs connect with people on an emotional level.
Create
Design creates a memorable visual impact for the concept. I put ultimate care into making sure that you get unique designs that are consistent across all touch points. Designs are always done by me, and not farmed out to others. If the project requires things that I can’t do, I will bring in partners tackle things like copywriting and web development.
Activate
I help you make maximum impact by making sure that the execution of the project goes off without a hitch. From choosing the right paper to making sure you’re seen in the right places, I can help activate your brand and your message.
